The name of the Prime Minister was Lal Bahadur Shastri, and the phrase he coined was ‘Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan`.

To honor a special village, our skilled weavers at Orissa Handlooms created a beautiful cotton saree that showcases the stunning scenery of a village.

Keeping with our tradition, our saree was woven in the double Ikat weave. It is indeed quite a praiseworthy affair as the saree is so light and yet so very creatively crafted that it would make a fine addition to anyone`s wardrobe.

Store it in a cool, dry place, ideally wrapped in a muslin cloth or cotton saree cover to protect the delicate weave and ensure longevity.
