Our country has always had a strong connection with temples, which are important places of worship.

Infact, Odisha happens to be one of those states which is known for it`s temples, and beaches. So it is no surprise that our newest arrival, fresh off the Handlooms, depicts motifs of the famous Sun Temple in Konark, which has a long and proud history associated with it, and is one of the gems of Odisha.

The saree, beautifully woven in black and maroon combination also depicts temple sculpture figures, who were an integral part of temples in Vedic times in it s aanchal , as can be seen for the borders and demarcations, whereas the body features the motifs of the temple.
